We’ve all heard it, I just need to take the edge off.. something to just drown out the noise in my mind.

And, yes, at times it could get pretty bad.

But what if I told you that it is not only that noise – that edge – but that struggle that makes you human and essentially makes you, you.

Society is constantly trying to tell you how you should feel, and what and how you must think. Celebrities are portrayed as sane as their scripts display them to be, but what they don’t tell you is that it’s normal to feel sad, incomplete and unfulfilled. Yes, it’s normal! We all feel that way because it’s through that constant gruesome battle with your emotions that you allow yourself to feel like you deserve peace and happiness.. because anything you receive that you do not deserve will only prolong your unhappiness.

And sedation via a pill is no exception!

So, we are here to encourage you not to give up.

We’re here to tell you that instead of reaching for a pill, there are things you can do to fight back.

Now, I’m not going to presume that there’s any one thing that you can do to get you through your time of despair but rather that it is only you that can help you! Because growth doesn’t come from merely overcoming your rough patch but rather the struggle which caused you to endure. And if the credit goes to anything other than yourself, you’ve only sedated the problem, not fixed it.

The edge is what makes you human
